Owner and chef Charles Tey, who runs the restaurant with his wife Cindy Chau, said they made sure the quality and taste of their food was of a high standard.

Mr Tey has been working as a chef for 15 years, and sold his home and used the profits to open Carlos Cantina four years ago, renovating an old pizza shop into the modern restaurant.
